In search of my future, I went to KULeuven and studied Civil Engineering for a year. After that, I was sure I belonged in a computer oriented field of study. I changed course to a Bachelors in Applied Informatics and chose the specialization software development.

After gaining some experience I know I specifically like web development and design. I really enjoy creating efficiënt back-end systems, but nothing beats the feeling of designing a good-looking, UX-friendly front-end. Furthermore, I like high-level programming. Anything from SQL to Elixir, from Python to Typescript.

Latin & Mathematics

I've always had a heart for maths and science. I added Latin to my studies to have a bit of extra challenge. In the last years of my high school career I started discovering my interests in informatics, but didn't realize this was where I wanted to go with my life.

SAP Application Developer Consultant

Wanting to explore new horizons, I chose to aim for SAP development. With a relevant web-development background, I proceeded my career at a steadily-growing consultancy office with a startup-alike working environment. After two months I achieved my first SAP certificate while working on internal projects. Half a month later I started my first client project.

Starting as an intern, I learned a lot from my time at Adshot. For a few months I helped the small development team with the big upgrade of their webtool. They offered me a contract for a few extra months to help finishing off the rest of the big project.
